About Us
This site was created and is maintained by an Australian primary school teacher.
Each of the treks and trails is an e-pathfinder, designed to support student learning. Librarians have traditionally provided pathfinders as a guide to finding books and resources on particular topics. E-pathfinders build on this process by assisting students to locate age appropriate and relevant resources on the internet quickly. They also provide a great starting point for research.
Learning Trails have links to selected websites that allow students to explore topics such as Chinese New Year and Australian Geography.
Novel Treks have links to information and activities that will enrich the experience of reading selected novels. Links have been chosen to broaden students' knowledge of authors and further understanding of the context of the stories they write.
